2021 Food Drive GOLAZO!

We had an amazing turnout for our 3rd Annual TBSC Community Food Drive.  Thanks to our entire community for your support and special thanks to the GU12 Lady Sharks for once again organizing and hosting the event.

The club collected almost 1,100 items of food, weighing over 1,000 pounds, and $100 for the Concern for Neighbors Food Bank in Mountlake Terrace.  Seriously, 1,000 pounds of food??! That’s more than the combined weight for an entire TBSC U11/U12 soccer team.

Our GU12 Lady Sharks were simply blown away by your support and we really were not sure what the response would be considering the current environment.

This year, we weren’t just collecting food.   Another member of our Brier soccer community was collecting soccer cleats with their team to benefit Tacos4Ticos, a Costa Rican Nonprofit, so we offered a collection drop off for that too.  Holy cow…we collected over 200 pairs of cleats and shin guards.  When the girls delivered it to their coach, it literally brought tears to their eyes.

But wait, there’s more…we also received somewhere between 150-200 pair of new soccer socks which we will donate to Cloths for Kids.

Our TBSC community is proving once again that we are WAY more than soccer.
We may be blown away with this year's response, but we are NOT surprised.

We miss you all!  I am sure you would love to be out there with us – even in the rain.

Be safe. Be good to yourself.  Stay active, stay fit.
