2023 SPRING RECREATIONAL SOCCER FOR PLAYERS AGES 8 - 15
*BIG NEWS* Spring will return to original format this year, mirroring fall!
Season Format:
- Spring will be 'team registration', ask your fall coach and team if they plan on playing. If your coach is not planning to lead a team, but you know a volunteer willing to step in as coach let us know.
- Age divisions will follow the 2022-2023 matrix
- Game format and roster sizes will follow Fall season
- Season game schedule will be 6 weeks, starting April 15th.
- Games will be played on Saturdays, if field shortage Sunday games may be scheduled at discretion of scheduler. Games will not be able to be rescheduled.
- All new players (players not registered in fall) must be properly registered with club. No player that has registered/played on a select/premier team in the seasonal year is eligible for Rec. Spring League.
- Formal practices will begin late March/early April , with primary fields at Cedar Way Elementary, Brier Terrace Middle School, and Mountlake Terrace HS or Evergreen Playfield.
- Due to the shortened season, we will utilize 'casual uniforms' - up to team discretion for coordinated shirt color or other option if team desires. No club uniforms are planned.
- Returning players to same coach/team as fall season will have priority for a team.
- We will try to place 'free agent' players as space allows.
- We'll do our best to honor coach/teammate requests, though it is not always possible.
- New natural age players will have priority for team placement over new 'play ups' requests
- Spring team assignment is not an indicator or guarantee that you'll b eon the same team in the fall.
